Hell It's Mine

As a versatile creator with a deep passion for the written word, my journey in the creative world has been one of exploration and celebration. From the very beginning, I embraced the freedom of writing without restricting myself within boundaries, allowing my creativity to flow across a variety of topics. Starting out as a blogger, I made a conscious decision not to limit myself to a specific niche. This openness has been the cornerstone of my creative process, resulting in a body of work that is both authentic and heartfelt. I’ve explored everything from movie reviews and book analysis to the evolving landscapes of culture, tradition and current affairs. The freedom to write about what genuinely interests me has allowed me to connect with readers on a multitude of levels, sparking meaningful conversations and igniting curiosity. Writing over time, however, I discovered a deep-rooted passion for parenting and child development—perhaps due to my years as an educator. This has become my niche and the focus of a significant part of my work. My aim is to inspire, inform, and engage my audience, leaving an indelible impact with every piece I create. In addition to writing, I’ve taken my love for education a step further by launching an online store offering unique educational printables designed for primary-grade learners. These resources are thoughtfully crafted to engage young minds and make their learning journey enjoyable and effective. It brings me immense joy to know that educators and parents alike are using these tools to enhance their children’s learning experiences, making it engaging, educational and entertaining. For me, this journey has only just begun. As I continue to explore new creative pathways, through my blogs, newsletters, and eBooks, I’m excited about where this endless adventure will lead next.

Elevate Your Child’s English – New Course Launch

Welcome to the Tuesday Toots! I’m excited to announce the launch of my new course, “Elevate Your English: Reading and Writing for Real Life”! I got the idea for this course when I saw the struggles of some of the smartest teenagers. Their exceptional grades were the envy of their friends and peers. But when it came to presenting their essays for college admissions, they were lost. Their thoughts were not structured, the ideas were scattered, the words lacked the punch, and though comfortable...

Welcome to the Tuesday Toots! Ever looked at your child gaming and thought, "What a waste of time!" But what if they’re not zoning out? What if they’re building skills like teamwork, strategy, and communication unconsciously? Before you blow your fuse and rush to confiscate the console, hit pause and take a closer look. Look beyond the game; at what’s really happening when they’re deep into that round of Minecraft or League of Legends. "Play is our brain's favourite way of learning." - Diane...

Welcome to the Tuesday Toots! The thirteen candles on the cake declare to the world that they are no longer the babies you think them to be. They are now officially the young adults, teenagers! The movie “Adolescence” has opened up the discussion once again about what’s happening to our kids as they navigate the turmoil created in their minds by the heady mix of their raging hormones and lure of social media. The present lives of the teenagers are far more complicated than ours ever were....

Welcome to the Tuesday Toots! Imagine this: Your child falls and scrapes their knee. Who do they run to first? If it’s you, that’s trust in action. It’s not something we can buy or demand—it’s earned, nurtured, and strengthened over time. From the moment they’re born, trust is their first experience with the world. When it’s broken or neglected, children grow up struggling to trust others, forming relationships built on fear and doubt. But when trust is woven into their upbringing, it becomes...

Welcome to the Tuesday Toots! When you hear the words networking, you think of the corporate office, smartly dressed professionals and some serious interaction between go getters at work. But that's not it. Networking is about making deep connections that can assist in opening doors in the future. Children must be given a head start about acquiring this skill rather than waiting for them to learn it at work. Since the skill will definitely not be taught at school, it's essential that parents...

Welcome to the Tuesday Toots! Have you ever wondered why you do what you do? Have you taken the time to explore other possibilities in your career, hobbies, or personal growth? What takes priority for you—exploration or persistence? Give it a thought. Understanding the balance between the two is crucial for progress and fulfilment. Let’s break it down. Welcome to the Tuesday Toots! It’s an unsettling reality. Plagiarism, fake news, online scams—our digital lives are like the Wild West, unpredictable and risky. You also need to prepare them to navigate the online world with confidence, safety, and responsibility. Here’s a guide to build your child’s digital...

Welcome to the Tuesday Toots! Is your overprotectiveness unintentionally shielding your child form learning from the best teacher - life itself? It's natural to want to protect them. But by bubble-wrapping them, protecting them from the real life challenges, you’re not allowing them the space they require to thrive, adapt, struggle and grow. It's time to step back and let the children explore and learn under your watchful eye. Watch them gain the confidence as they grow stronger, resilient...
